Seasonal Logistics Planner/Schedular
Seasonal Logistics Planner/Schedular is responsible for monitoring and managing nitrogen supply levels to ensure timely customer deliveries. This role involves data analysis, logistics coordination, and proactive customer communication to optimize delivery schedules and maintain efficient supply chain operations.This is a seasonal position, but there is potential for a full-time opportunity based on company growth and the candidate's ability to take on additional responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Predictive Supply Planning: Analyze customer consumption trends and historical data to forecast nitrogen needs.
- Logistics Coordination: Schedule and optimize deliveries to ensure customer uptime while minimizing costs.
- Data Monitoring: Track nitrogen levels using application software and maintain accurate records for forecasting.
- Customer Engagement: Communicate with customers proactively to anticipate supply needs and address any concerns.
- Issue Resolution: Create and manage service tickets for technical or supply-related challenges.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Associate degree OR at least 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, customer service, or logistics.
- Previous experience in inventory management, scheduling, or order fulfillment is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with inventory software, contact management software, or order processing systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-first mindset.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Seasonal role, with potential for permanent employment.
- Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak season.
SALARY RANGE
- Hourly rate: $20 - $22 per hour
- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
