Welder
The Welder Level 3 is a senior-level welder capable of performing high-precision MIG and TIG welding across multiple materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This role includes advanced fabrication, mentoring junior welders, and ensuring adherence to strict industry and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to code-quality standards.
Fabricate and assemble complex components, pressure-rated systems, and structural frames.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and welding procedures (WPS).
Train and mentor Level 1 and 2 welders in best practices and safe work methods.
Perform and document weld inspections; assist with WPS/PQR qualification testing.
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to resolve technical challenges.
Qualifications:
5+ years of welding experience in fabrication, repair, or manufacturing environments.
Proficient in MIG and TIG on multiple materials including aluminum.
AWS or ASME certification preferred (GTAW/GMAW).
Experience with code-compliant pressure vessel or piping systems highly desirable.
Strong leadership, communication, and quality assurance mindset.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform extended welding operations.
